Description
Telesales Team Leader
The role of the Team Leader is to manage an outbound sales team selling to existing customers and new prospects. The TL. is responsible for direct management, motivation and achievement of their teams’ target.
Methodology:
The aim with existing customers to adopt a consultative sales approach, with needs analysis and matching of products to those identified needs with the aim to delight existing customers.
New prospects should also have the consultative sale approach as well, that said these will need a more determined effort to close the sale.
Responsibilities:
• Targets and performance management.
Setting separate targets for existing and prospect data.
• Agent motivation.
• Agent coaching.
• One to One’s, including agent development.
• TL is to Report team performance, with action plans for remedial actions as necessary.
• Script enhancement and writing.
• Ongoing product training for their team.
• Monitor agent call quality and enhancement.
• Ensure all calls are conducted within DMA guidelines.
• Update of FAQ’s.
• Ensure AM’s capture CRM enhancing information, e.g. email addresses, contract end dates for competitor products etc.
• Be Hands on and lead by example delivering a personal monthly sales target.

Other:
Initially this will require Monday to Friday working but as the Account management function develops this may require one Saturday in the month to be regarded as part of the working week with a day off in lieu.

Salary: £24k Basic plus OTE £35K/£40K
