PRE-SALES/BUSINESS CONSULTANT
£40,000 - £60000 PER ANNUM, PLUS COMMISSION

My Client is currently looking for an experienced Pre-Sales Consultant. You will participate in all phases of their ETRM implementation project, from presales through to post-contract implementation and support.
Tasks include:
• Participate in ETRM implementation projects at the Business Analyst/ Implementation Consultant level, normally under the direction of a Project Manager and/or VP Consulting.
This includes:
Definition of client and end-user requirements
Business analysis and business process definition
User training and education
System and data configuration
Gap analysis and documentation
Post-implementation support for named clients, including telephone and online support.
• Participate in presales projects, normally under the direction of an Account Manager and/or VP Consulting.
Includes:
o Opportunity qualification and review
o Presentations and system demonstrations
o Client/prospect surveys and proof-of-concept engagements
o Solution definition and demonstration.
• Lead post-contract and presales projects as required under the direction of a Senior Consultant or VP Consulting
• Build expertise in our solutions
• Provide customer-facing input to our Product Management and Marketing groups.
Travel
• Up to 40%, mostly 2 - 5 nights per trip
Profile
• 1-3 years of work experience in a consulting and/or business environment, particularly in one or more of the following areas:
o Oil and/or commodities trading
o Risk management
o Supply chain management within a major process-based industry, particularly oil and gas
o Business support software (eg. ERP).
• Minimum of Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, or other science, technical or engineering discipline. Graduates of business schools will also be considered.
• Strong customer-awareness
• Strong analytical, communication and business skills
