Legal Secretary – Property
Are you an experienced Legal Secretary, particularly within both Residential and Commercial Property, looking for local role within a highly regarded firm in the centre of Canterbury?
Working predominantly for a Director, this is a fantastic role for a candidate who has solid experience within a fast paced property team,
The main purpose of the role will be to provide secretarial and general administrative support to the department, to include:
Preparing correspondence and documents through audio – typing
Making appointments, arranging meetings and maintain an up to date diary for the department
Dealing with routine client enquiries and communications
General administration to include daily filing, the opening and closing, storage and retrieval of client files
Preparing documents/reports as required by the Fee Earner
Dealing with transactional matters in the sale and purchase of residential properties
Attending clients both in person and over the telephone and providing such support in a professional and friendly manner in keeping with the firm’s standards for client care
Ensuring the confidentiality of the firm’s client’s documentation and information
Providing secretarial support to other areas of the office as necessary
Working at other offices from time to time, to meet the needs of the business
Ideally you will have a solid background as a legal secretary, particularly within residential property, have up to date knowledge of the residential property conveyancing process and excellent client care.
The salary for the role is flexible for the right candidate but likely to be in the region of £20,000 and this is a full time role working Monday – Friday 9am – 5.15pm.
