Bridge Recruitment are currently recruiting for an Experience Site Manager for a Construction company based in London. My client delivers a high quality service for residential refurbishment and commercial fit-outs, including new design & development as well as conservation work. This role is due to start the December/January 2021; the projects will be based in North London up to St Albans. Hours are 8am to 5:30pm, with occasion weekend work when required.
Duties include:
·       Supervising and overseeing the direction of the project), ensuring that the client’s specifications and requirements are met, reviewing progress and liaising with quantity surveyors to monitor costs
·       Liaising with the client, other construction professionals and, sometimes, members of the public
·       Coordinating and supervising construction workers.
·       Conducting safety inspections and ensuring construction and site safety.
·       Checking and preparing site reports, designs and drawings.
·       Maintaining quality control procedures.
·       Assessing and minimising risk
·       Helping to negotiating contracts and securing permits and licences.
·       As construction managers work on site wherever that site is, be prepared to relocate or face a longer commute as and when required.
This successful candidate for this role will have 4 years plus residential Site Management experience working on a range of projects, such as, new builds, refurbishments and extension.
