Export Despatch Clerk

Bridge Recruitment are currently recruiting for an Export Despatch Clerk for a large Family run logistics company in Dartford area. We are looking for two positions one working a day shift 8am to 5pm and the other a late shift 1pm to 10pm (shift allowance added). You will need to have at least 2 years’ experience in European and International road operations.

Duties include:

• Collation and processing of delivery notes Part and Full processing of Collection orders
• EDI takeover
• Preparation and despatch of trunk vehicles and one way export trailers
• Routing of consignments for trailer yield maximisation
• Processing of customs envelopes
• Dangerous goods compatibility checks
• Transmission of EDI
• Brexit required admin duties : Entering information on Gov. Gov, SI Brext, ICS, Euro Tunnel and adding customs information to processed jobs
• Liaison with other departments in Dartford such as export customer service, warehouse and transport department
