IT Systems Engineer

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Systems Engineer to further develop their skills within a growing, supportive and dynamic IT company.

Your role will involve supporting clients throughout the UK and when required, travelling to their sites to deliver on-site technical projects and solve mechanical breakdowns. Additionally, you will also be on a rota to provide 24/7 support.

As an IT Systems Engineer, you will be required to assist on a busy help desk providing remote support to key clients. You will also be responsible for the delivery of key installations and projects including Microsoft Server, Exchange and Office 365, virtualisation, network design and security solutions.

The ideal IT Systems Engineer will also have all/some of the following:

• Experience of providing 1^st 2^nd line support
• HP / Dell and leading manufacture hardware support essential
• Current qualifications, such as CCNP Microsoft MCSE, VCP
• Good understanding of routing
• Experience with Cisco and HP networks

Experience with MS server operating systems, including Server 2008/16, Exchange 2007/16, SQL,VMware, Office 365, firewalls, network security.

It is also essential that you are a clear and logical thinker with a quality approach to customer service.
