Our client is a member’s club and they are looking for a .Net Team Leader to lead the existing .Net, C# development team and to drive improvements and new technical solutions for the club and its members. The club’s projects are the lifeline of the processes of the club both internally and externally through the website / internal apps as well as mobile apps. The club has seen massive change to solutions in recent times and need to complete a review of the current solutions and how best to proceed, with some challenging projects including changes of booking system.

 

They are looking for the right person to come in and manage their Agile development team; they require a leader who will proactively work with the business and fellow IS Team Leaders. As leader of a growing team of developers, Technical BA and Technical Lead driving the organisation forward with technical solutions this is a key role for the future of the club to help form the technical landscape for years to come.

 

 

Key Tasks/Accountabilities:

 

  • Manage own and team members work time effectively to ensure projects are delivered to agreed schedules
  • Manage forecasting of team resource and provide estimates for projects and tasks assigned to the .Net Team
  • Work with department leadership to define and improve department process, procedure and working practices to create a best in class team
  • Manage own assigned projects assuming responsibility and ownership for delivery
  • Consider both technical and non-technical requirements when determining solutions
  • Make a major contribution to ensuring operational and support aspects of software products are in place for each software project
  • Understand and comply with company policies and procedures
  • Work with Technical Lead to set code quality standards and oversee their implementation

  • Make strong arguments supported by technical knowledge
  • RabbitMQ, Micro-service Architecture
  • Ability to work with External Development Teams
