Location: East Peckham, Kent

Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 per year, plus benefits

Hours: 8am – 5pm, Monday – Friday.

Job type: Full-time, permanent

Bridge Recruitment is helping one of our well-established clients recruit for an experienced Health & Safety Manager to join their ever-expanding team. Within this role you will work with key internal stakeholders across the company and report directly to the CEO and Operations Director.

Responsibilities of the Health & Safety Manager:

• Engaging with key stakeholders on site location to drive a positive health and safety culture.
• Assessment of the health and safety management systems to ensure that it reflects best practice.
• Conducting site inspections as required, working closely with the contracts and sales team.
• Auditing and maintaining ISO management system.
• Supporting the wider team in the development and delivery of the strategy, identifying opportunities to enhance the effectiveness of the health and safety function internally and externally.

Requirements of the Health & Safety Manager:

• NEBOSH certificate (diploma preferred) and membership of IOSH.
• Proven experience in a similar health and safety role. Experience in the electrical installation sector preferred.
• Experience influencing and engaging at all levels within a dynamic business.
• Proven understanding of ISO management systems (Quality, Safety & Environmental) is ideal.
